If you want to be a successful entrepreneur, you need to be ready to evolve Click To Tweet
Below you can find 2 core technical skills (tangible skills), that despite their big impact, sometimes are underestimated:
1. CONTENT CREATION
No need to say that content marketing is one of the most powerful marketing strategies (in case you need to hear it: IT’S A MUST).
These are some of the many benefits good content can bring to your business:
- Content marketing drives conversions.
- Position your business as an industry expert.
- It gives your site visitors a reason to stick around.
- Is shareable!
- Content marketing is cost-effective (productive in relation to its cost).
Creating good content can be difficult sometimes, maybe you can’t find the inspiration or you don’t feel like writing.
Or maybe the real reason is that you don’t know how to create content and just thinking about it make you feel overwhelmed… so you just postponed.
The good news is that everybody can create good content, of course, the more content you create the better you become at it.
I’m going to share here with you a couple of key-things to help you become a good content creator:
Read News Related to your Business on a Daily Basis
Stay up to date on your industry, find where your potential customers spend time online and stay ahead of the game.
Try to have everything you read in one place. For example, you can have your favorite blogs listed in Feedly.
This will give you tons of ideas for your new article or video.
Practice makes perfect. I’m not saying that you will become the next Ernest Hemingway, but I’m sure that you will start writing more fluently.
Write at any possible moment, take 15 minutes a day and write down some ideas.
Something that works for me is to take a moment to analyze my day, before I go to sleep… think about any human interaction you had and write down what you would have done differently to get the most out of that interaction.
A very underrated skill that will save yourself from some important headaches along the way.
When you’re building your online business, the probabilities of you having to communicate your ideas to a developer/techie are high. Unless you have the required technical background, you’ll need IT people help.
It’s important to clearly outline what we expect from them, or even if you’re going to do the job by yourself, you need to design it first.
Think of it as the treasure map for your potential customers.
So…What is wireframing?
As defined by Wikipedia:
A website wireframe, also known as a page schematic or screen blueprint, is a visual guide that represents the skeletal framework of a website.
Wireframes are created for the purpose of arranging elements to best accomplish a particular purpose. The purpose is usually being informed by a business objective and a creative idea.
Wireframing is a way to design a website service at the structural level. Below you can find an example of wireframing in a mobile app:
In the WireframeShowcase.com you can find some examples of Wireframing.
This skill is a must to create the blueprint of your website or app.
